Hanging Garden
The work in Hanging Garden is an attempt at the selective articulation of the surfaces of aluminium structures through the use of paint and resin. It has been made through a process governed by specific rules by artists James Barron and Eric Butcher.
James Barron is and artist and writer who studied at Norwich and now lives in France. Writing projects include Gaps (catalogue essay 200), ‘Subway Special – A Democratic Platform’ (editorial work and catalogue essays 2001) and an ongoing series of small-scale publication presenting the work of other artists and writers.
Eric Butcher is an artist and lecturer in Fine Art at the Arts University Bournemouth. He has exhibited extensively in the UK and internationally, and is currently represented on London by Vertigo.
