From here to there

From here to there curated by Phil Beards and Geoff Drury draws together fifty years of photography at The Arts Institute at Bournemouth. The exhibition offers an insight into the distance travelled by these photographers and comprises of one image from their graduate portfolio alongside examples of current work. These include Philip Townsend, Nick Knight, Michael Birt and Wolfgang Tillmans with over twenty other successful photographers representing a selection of photographic talent from Bournemouth, who have achieved success and who are working all around the world.

The essay contextualises the work of alumni from The Art Institute at Bournemouth in contemporary photography, as well as giving an insight into the significant diversity of direction taken by the artists.
