TheGallery - The Art of Movement Within Drawing – panel discussion
Join us for a panel discussion exploring “the art of movement within drawing”, considering how artists use line, gesture, rhythm, time, space, and material to create a sense of movement and transformation.
The event will open with a formal welcome from Violet M. McClean, Curator of the AUB Hang at TheGallery, followed by a discussion with invited speakers reflecting on the role of movement within contemporary drawing practice.
The panel will feature Professor Anita Taylor, Founding Director of the Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize (since 1994), artist and Dean of Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design at the University of Dundee.
