Memoir and Autofiction Writing – an Introduction - Spring 2025

This exciting introductory course aims to gather and collate your memoirs into shape, or help you take your first steps into writing a memoir. 

Memoir, or Autofiction (combining elements of autobiography and fiction) are increasingly popular creative writing genres, either in published format, or privately, as a way of recording lives for the family and future generations. This course stimulates and develops your writing based on personal experience with literary purpose. By the end of the course, you will have built up a collection of written pieces to serve as a structure for a full-length memoir/autofiction.
