The Art of Screenprinting

This course is ideal if you're planning a career as a print technician, studio helper, workshop assistant, or as an artist and designer looking to broaden your creative horizons. Likewise, it's perfect for complete beginners that wish to try screenprinting for the first time.  

With expert guidance from your tutor, Donna Peters, this hands-on course will introduce you to all the equipment and a wide range of screenprinting techniques using water based screen-printing processes.  

You'll be one of only 10 students, so you'll have maximum individual attention from your tutor. You'll use photographic stencil emulsions to make screens from photographic, digital or hand-drawn sources.  

You'll also use methods of working directly on the screen mesh, allowing experimental print work to be carried out for use with paper and fabrics.  

At the end of the course you'll have produced and accumulated many high-standard individual and creative pieces for portfolio submission or to frame and display for years to come.
